It has low water absorption and is easily moulded as low cost. PP – Homopolymer (PP-H) is produced by a continuous chain of polypropylene units which results in a high stiffness material.

Corrosion resistant injection molded CPVC pipe, pipe sizes 1/2’” through 20” produced to Schedule 80 dimensions, for use at temperatures up to and including 200°F. Pressure rating varies with pipe size and temperature. Generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants and halogens.

PP-R is a high-temperature plastic pressure piping system first used for plumbing and hydronic heating in the 1980’s in Europe and introduced to North America in the 2000’s. PP-R pipes also provide resistance to highly acidic and basic solutions. Other uses include industrial and food-grade piping. Joints can be heat-fused.
